The film is a thriller set in the present and is about David, a meteorologist working in the Swedish Armed Forces in the footsteps of his departed father. One day when he helps his mother move, he finds his dad’s old work. He discovers that his father “Gustav”, played by Magnus Roosmann, did not work with meteorology at all, but did something completely different. To find out what Gustav really worked with, David makes his way to a deserted island off the coast of Northern Norway in the Barents Sea. On the abandoned island, he soon discovers that he’s not alone…
