The lives of two young women, or the fear of living, touch upon each other. Isabell works at a karaoke bar in a small Swedish town. She is charming, funny and terrified of intimacy. She is hiding something that prevents anyone from getting too close and she keeps up appearances. Jessica is in the same situation when she moves into the same apartment. Superficial and terrified of her inner darkness. Aside from having lived at the same address, they share a physical resistance to growing up and establishing themselves, being capable of and living in a relationship.
